There are many types of useful business gifts that you can offer clients, consumers, and your employees. We have mentioned in other articles that business gifts are a good way to promote brand recognition. If you truly want something that will keep you in the minds of your consumer base, the mouse mat may be just the thing.
Mouse mats are used in a variety of settings, and if offered for free are always useful. Sometimes at the workplace mouse mats are not offered to employees to use. Why this is is not really clear as they are a great way to build brand awareness when printed with the company logo. As a business gift mouse mats with your logo and picture on them could well wind up in the person’s office. This means whatever traffic works its way into that setting; the mouse mat and therefore your brand, will be seen.
The other option is that the mouse mats are taken home and used there. Again you still have that reminder for the consumer to shop at your store. Your name will be remembered each time they look at the business gifts. They may even offer it to a friend if they don’t need it. There are many ways to use mouse mats as a way of advertising.
The thing about mouse mats is that they are less than conventional. Many times business gifts are pens, mugs, and bags. By offering mouse mats as business gifts you are taking a stand away from the norm, which in turn will be noticed.

Great post! People look at their mouse-pads every day and can be constantly reminded of your company! I recently moved into a new office and realized I didn't have a mouse pad! What a great opportunity, and you can never have too many (they get dirty quickly!) Thanks for the nice promo idea.
